Located in Dandangan area, Kediri, Wecono Asri Batik gallery can be easily found with a small showroom that displays beautiful and unique batik original from Kediri. Around 2006, Mrs. Kasiana, the owner and founder of Wecono Asri Batik, began to recognize the current of Batik when she followed Batik training which organized by the Government of Kediri. Today, there are about 5-10 people that make creation of Batik in Wecono Asri gallery. For making Batik is done in batik workshop located separately with batik gallery or showroom of Wecono Asri that starting of the process until the completion mencanting and to be final products become Batik done in workshop.

Batik collections of Wecono Asri are native of the Kingdom of Kediri, such as Gringsing Batik, Kawung Batik, and Parang Batik which the motifs are derived from Kediri. The patterns of Wecono Asri Batik have unique design results from Mrs. Kasiana, such as jaranan (traditional dance and art from Indonesia), Brantas River, pring sedapur (plant look alike bamboo), and others. To dying the batik, the craft women use chemical colors and also the natural color of rambutan fruit, jolawe (herbal from Indonesia), and mauni. Wecono Asri Batik offers the products of batik fabrics and clothes that have unique motif of lotus and eagle advance, symbol of Kediri.  This gallery also provides all kinds of Batik in various models and techniques (print, stamp, drawing).
