Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) world wide, led by Pastor Bolanle Shonekan, has concluded arrangements to establish a hospital, a garment industry and a candle and perfume manufacturing company at Imala, in Abeokuta North area of Ogun State.<\/p>\n
The Omola of Imala, Oba Moses Adelani Olabode, at the weekend said this while speaking at his first coronation anniversary.
\nHe said by the time such projects would take off, his community would benefit immensely from it.<\/p>\n
At the ceremony attended by several dignitaries, including Mrs Iyabo Obansanjo-Bello, who was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Yeyemeto of Imala, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Baaroyin of Imala and Chief Dare Olaosebikan, Jagunmolu of Imala, Omola described the gesture as the best thing to happen to the community<\/p>\n
He called on other well-meaning people in the society to emulate the Church and contribute to the country’s economic growth.<\/p>\n
Oba Olabode acknowledged several developmental projects established by both federal and state governments in the community, especially in the last one year.<\/p>\n
According to him, some of these developmental projects include the construction and equipping of a Federal Government Model pprimary Health Centre, FADAMA Community projects like borehole, construction of market and road rehabilitation jointly financed by the World Bank, Federal and state governments.<\/p>\n
He said the community looked forward to more developmental projects from governments at all levels.<\/p>\n
The royal father commended Governor Gbenga Daniel for his numerous development initiatives in the state, the latest of which is Gateway Games, and appealed to him to fulfill his promise of reconstructing the five kilometre Gbenga Daniel Road that passes through Imala to Olodo, to bring utmost joy to the people of he area.<\/p>\n
He said an Italian company has sent representatives from Italy to assess the community for a multi-million dollar agro-allied industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
