\nWhat I think: There’s almost nothing my daughter and I agree on, especially when it comes to where to shop. But when Laila Rowe is having a sale, it’s a race to see which of us gets there first. (Of course we never agree on what’s “cool” so I guess it’s almost like shopping at two different places anyway!)
\nI really like Laila Rowe for accessories. I’m not much for fine jewelry, and I like the idea having fun (sometimes funky) necklaces to dress up my outfits, particularly when they don’t cost a lot because I have a tendency to break them, especially when my dog jumps up to say “hi” or when they get caught on a kitchen drawer. LailaRowe is an inexpensive line that doesn’t look cheap, and shopping there makes me feel less guilty when I look at all the broken necklaces in my jewelry box! \ud83d\ude09
\nSince I wear a lot of black, I’m thinking of getting the 36″ Carved Circle Link Chain Necklace for $18 (#35302). Or, maybe I’ll finally get myself some desperately-needed rubber boots. I like the black ones with dots (#3246) that are $35. The last time I waded through down-town puddles, I completely ruined a pair of $50 Aerosoles shoes I loved. With the 50% off sale, I’ll probably get both, so the necklace will only cost $9. And the boots will save me loads and loads on shoes that don’t like rain. That’s a real deal!
