Event marks first time Korloff will be available in Egypt <\/span>Korloff Paris, one of the world\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s leading designers of jewelry and precious items, is bringing its collection to Egypt for the first time.\u00c2\u00a0 To mark the event, Korloff artistic director and CEO Daniel Paillasseur will be on-hand to celebrate the grand-opening.\u00c2\u00a0 Paillasseur\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s name is world-renowned in the jewelry industry, and his presence underscores the importance of the launch. As the first showroom in Egypt for Korloff, the store will feature some of the designer\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s most coveted collections such as the Lady Korloff, Fantasme, and Cancun.<\/p>\n

The expansion into the Egypt market is seen as a major move for the Parisian diamond company, which explains why Daniel Paillasseur is personally attending the debut.<\/p>\n

Born in Lyon in 1948, Paillasseur has established himself as one of the eminent experts in the world of jewelry.\u00c2\u00a0 He founded Korloff in 1978, choosing the name from an 88-ct. black diamond that was once owned by the Korloff Spojinikoffs, a noble Russian family.\u00c2\u00a0 According to legend, the stone brings happiness, luck and prosperity to whoever touches it.<\/p>\n

The diamond left a lasting impression on Paillasseur the second he first held it, captivating him with its magic and beauty.\u00c2\u00a0 Today Korloff owns the black diamond, which has become the soul and symbol of the company.<\/p>\n
