A brazen heist left a store out thousands of dollars worth of diamond jewelry.<\/p>\n
Just before 6:30 p.m., two men walked into Ben Moss Jewelers at Kingsway Garden Mall and asked staff members if they could look at some rings.<\/p>\n
Store staff felt they looked suspicious and while the men were looking at the rings one of the staff members called mall security. <\/p>\n
Moments later, the suspects smashed a glass display case and scooped up some diamond jewelry.<\/p>\n
They took off and jumped into a Ford F250 pick-up truck and fled the area. The truck was later recovered and found to have been stolen.<\/p>\n
Police are trying to verify suspect descriptions and no one has been picked up.<\/p>\n
An exact dollar value of the jewelry has not been released.<\/p>\n
Store staff would only confirm that the theft had taken place.<\/p>\n
