Unlike the typical of <em>nasi<\/em> <em>pindang<\/em> in Kudus, Central Java that has texture of thick sauce dressing, <em>nasi pindang <\/em>from Trenggalek has texture of little sauce dressing and tends to dry. The recipe of <em>nasi pindang <\/em>from Trenggalek also uses coconut milk and the color of this food is black with the addition of soy sauce, so that <em>nasi pindang <\/em>looks like <em>rawon<\/em>. Part of the beef used is meat that has soft texture and located on the inside of the spine, beef liver and kikil with sliced \u200b\u200bpapaya. Seasoning of <em>nasi pindang<\/em> is used herbs and spices, lime, bay leaves, and <em>kluwek<\/em> that produce black color on <em>nasi pindang<\/em>. Uniquely, to produce <em>nasi pindang<\/em> that has delicious and perfect seasoning seep into the meat, <em>nasi pindang<\/em> should be allowed to stand one night.
