Troso Village, Pecangaan District, Jepara Regency is an ikat weaving crafts center and is the superior product from Jepara regency after the furniture industry. Troso Village is located about 15 Km north -east city of Jepara. Many craftsmen developed at this time to Troso increasingly recognized as cluster of home industry ATBM (Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin) fabrics (not the engine loom). In accordance with the development of the garment market, demand for the products ikat weaving are growing as following consumer demand. Typical motifs of Troso ikat weaving are ethnic, traditional, classic, and unique contemporary motif.

Batik Dewi Shinta is one of Troso ikat weaving workshop in Jepara that provides a wide range of Troso weaving products that are already quite well known throughout the country and even to foreign countries. In addition to producing fabrics with traditional motifs, Batik Dewi Shinta also produce ethnic motifs from various areas, but still maintain the typical pattern of Troso that is now guarded its authenticity, such as warp ikat patterns, belt feed, and striated.
