Small spaces such as apartments or tiny guestrooms which may also double as home offices, call for sofa beds or sleepers. Here are seven modern sleepers to fit those small spaces.

These sleepers have very slim, modern lines, and even opened up they don't require a tremendous amount of extra space. Since all  have firm surfaces, you may want to top them with mattress pads for sleeping. That could come in especially handy if this is to be your primary sleeping surface, because they prevent any annoying slippage.

Because these are not especially large sleepers, most will sleep one person in comfort, while some will accommodate two.

As far as quality goes, you will find that most often you will get what you pay for, so make the choice depending on your budget, how long you plan to use it, and how often it is going to be used. Invest in a good solid piece if this is going to be your primary sleep surface.
