Small spaces such as apartments or tiny guestrooms which may also double as home offices, call for sofa beds or sleepers. Here are seven modern sleepers to fit those small spaces.
These sleepers have very slim, modern lines, and even opened up they don't require a tremendous amount of extra space. Since all have firm surfaces, you may want to top them with mattress pads for sleeping. That could come in especially handy if this is to be your primary sleeping surface, because they prevent any annoying slippage.
Because these are not especially large sleepers, most will sleep one person in comfort, while some will accommodate two.

6. Christy SleeperThis sleeper comes from Simplicity Sofas who specialize in making upholstered furniture for smaller places.
Available in different sizes and fabric, the sleeper uses an AirDream hybrid air/foam mattress and has a trifold mechanism for operating. It requires assembly, but is easy to put together
7. CB2 Flex Sleeper SofaThis is one of CB2's best known sleepers. CB2, a sister company of Crate and Barrel makes smaller profiled furniture for modern living.
The sleeper back can hold three-positions. Upright for sitting, 45-degrees for lounging or fully flush with the seat for a sleeping surface for two. The cushions contain pocketed springs.
