Customs department in HCM City revealed that in the first seven months of 2014, total exports turnover of the city reached US $1.194 billion, of which textile and garment are leading.

A fire burned a portion of the MGM Garment Factory in Chalan Piao on Sunday night, the Department of Public Safety said yesterday.
No one was injured in the blaze.

More than 200 strands of wool stretched across a loom in front of the newly crowned Lebanon Area Fair Queen, Greta Heagy, yesterday.
“Very good,†said Trudy Kreider in an encouraging tone as Heagy finished a section of a shawl she was learning to make.
Kreider is one of four original members of the Lebanon Valley Woolseys, who have been bringing the popular “Sheep to Shawl†demonstration to the fair at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center and Fairgrounds for more than 18 years.
