The Corks for Kids Path Charity event was presented by Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro to raise money for the Kids Path program. Gold extends gains on record oil, jewelers active

Gold extended gains on Tuesday, adding to a rise of nearly 2% in New York, helped by bargain hunting and record-high crude oil, which enhanced the metal’s appeal as a hedge against inflation.

Platinum hits 2-week high

SINGAPORE: Platinum jumped to its best level in more than two weeks on Friday on speculative buying ahead of the launch of new platinum exchange-traded notes, while gold held near a one-week high on firm euro and record high oil.
