Behold the bauble.
Rare is the woman who doesn’t love to receive jewelry. Whether it’s a pricey piece from a significant other or a special statement-making accessory from a BFF, we’re thrilled to be handed a small box in a holiday gift exchange.
Jewelry is a present that is all about personal taste, so the No. 1 rule is to know the taste of the person you’re buying for.
If you aren’t sure, observe the sort of accessories she wears or take a peek inside her jewelry box. When it comes to jewelry, it’s generally not a good idea to stray too far from her usual style. A dainty-necklace gal may not be comfortable with a large, showy pendant. Read more about Holiday gift guide: jewelry

House of Taylor Jewelry, Inc. Reports Third Quarter and Nine Month 2007 Financial Results

House of Taylor Jewelry, Inc. Reports Third Quarter and Nine Month 2007 Financial Results
CNNMoney.com

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — House of Taylor Jewelry, Inc. today reported financial results for its third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2007.

Third Quarter Results

Net sales for the third quarter of 2007 were $4.9 million compared to $12.0 million for the third quarter of 2006. The decline in sales resulted from a $6.4 million decrease in sales from loose diamonds as the Company focused on sales of its branded jewelry. In 2006, loose diamonds were sold to increase market penetration and brand awareness. Additionally, available inventory was temporarily affected in the third quarter because the Company did not close its $30 million credit facility until after the end of the third quarter. This contributed to the decline in sales of the Company’s Elizabeth(R) and Kathy Ireland(R) branded products, which accounted for the balance of the decline in sales as compared to the third quarter of 2006. The $30 million credit facility closed on October 12, 2007 Read more about House of Taylor Jewelry, Inc. Reports Third Quarter and Nine Month 2007 Financial Results

They are beautiful pieces meant to be worn — smoothly polished cut opal; softly colored sea glass connected with sterling silver; magnificent jade petals in pinks and oranges; amazing lasso necklaces of crocheted sterling silver perfect for twisting, tucking and tying.
