After teaming up with the high fashion company to create highly popular Millionaire sunglasses line, Pharrell has once again teamed up with Louis Vuitton to create a new line of jewelry called Blason.

As reported by Fashion Week Daily, the French fashion house will unveil the new collection of fine jewelry designed in collaboration with Pharrell Williams and Camille Miceli (the Vuitton creative consultant who now designs jewelry for the brand and handles Marc Jacobs’s personal public relations) during the upcoming Paris couture shows in late January. THE WORLD JEWELRY CENTER SET TO OPEN IN 2015

The World Jewelry Center (WJC), the Las Vegas-based building which will house manufacturers, dealers, wholesalers and retailers in the diamond, gemstone, pearl, jewelry and watch industries, is now slated for completion in 2015 instead of the original target date of end of 2015.

An unusual import shop selling gemstone paintings and other items from Russia has opened in downtown Chandler.

Russian Oasis, 8 S. San Marcos Place, is owned by Tony Domenico, a mechanical engineer at Orbital Sciences Corp., and his wife, Tanya, a native of Moscow.

RESTON, Va., Dec. 25 (UPI) — Early online shopping statistics suggest this year’s U.S. holiday shoppers bypassed jewelry, watches and flowers in favor of furniture and appliances.

Andrew Lipsman, an analyst with comScore Networks, which analyzes online shopping by U.S. consumers, said holiday season furniture and appliance sales rose about 70 percent over last year’s levels, while sales of holiday mainstays such as watches and jewelry fell, The New York Times reported Tuesday. The federal government brands magnets in toys a deadly hazard to children because the tiny, powerful objects can fall out and cause serious, even fatal, internal injuries when swallowed.
