Asheville craftsman to have jewelry trunk show at Next-to-New

ASHEVILLE – Junior League of Asheville member Gini Williams, an internationally-know craftsman and artist, will present a special showing of her handmade bead jewelry at Next-to-New beginning Tuesday.
The fund-raiser for Junior League of Asheville is the only time this year Williams will present a showing of her work in a retail location.
Next-to-New is a resale store featuring upscale and new fashions for the family and home at thrift store prices. It has been in operation at 29 Biltmore Ave. in downtown Asheville since 1949 and is Junior League of Asheville’s major fund-raiser.
Williams is a member of Southern Highland Craft Guild, Piedmont Craftsmen of Winston-Salem, Center for the Study of Beadwork, Complex Weavers and the Bead Society of Great Britain.
Next-to-New’s hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. For more information, call 253-8051.
