Burglars loot West Valley jewelry store

The Salt Lake Tribune
A West Valley City jewelry store was looted early Monday morning by burglars who apparently cut a hole in the ceiling, climbed into the store and cut a hole in a safe.
Investigators do not know how much jewelry was stolen nor how much damage was done to the Kim Sung Jewelry store at 1819 W. 3500 South.
The store had its security cameras shut off after hours, but an alarm was triggered around 12:30 a.m. early Monday morning, said West Valley police spokesman Mark Van Roosandaal.
Police searched for fingerprints Monday afternoon and pulled videotapes from surrounding stores to identify the burglars.
