What was your profession or career prior to opening this business? I was a master gold smith for 30 years.

Fun fact about your business? It’s enjoyable restoring or making something for a customer and seeing them completely happy.
What is the most unique thing about this new business? My wife Kelly and I get to work
together daily and share our talents with the community.
How would you describe your management style? I am low key, easy going and love to have fun with customers.
Why did you choose to open this type of business, or become involved with this industry? I have serviced the Bay Area for 30 years as a jeweler and have lived in Vacaville for 18 years, and always wanted to own a downtown jewelry store.
What are your least and most favorite things about things about your business/industry? This is a business where emotion plays a part of the purchase, and being involved with that special moment is priceless.
What are your company’s biggest challenges and how do you plan to tackle them? Our biggest challenge is getting the word out about our new store. Right now customers are testing us and the response has been quite exciting. Advertising and word of mouth is our medicine.
How would you describe your clients? So far, we have had a spectrum, and I have learned to never judge a book by its cover, so everyone is treated the same.
What life experience best prepared you for the business/job? We have been associated with many corporate accounts as well as mom and pops. Treat people the way you like to be treated and the rest will fall in place.
