Diana owes much of early success and achievement to her constant lifelong exposure to the finest in style and design. While young, Vincent attended many of the fashion shows of her uncle, James Galanos, the internationally acclaimed couturier. Diana noted Galanos’ insistence on putting design first, his unrelenting high standards of craftsmanship, and his refusal to cut corners on quality. These principles resonated in Vincent, and she continued his legacy of excellence in her own work as she set forth on her own.

Diana’s talent was recognized once again when she won the DeBeers Diamonds International Award for the second time in Milan, in 1986. This coup distinguished Diana as the only American to win the DeBeers biannual award for two consecutive years.

Diana’s work has been featured on television and is repeatedly seen at such celebrity events as the Academy Awards, the Vogue VH1 Fashion Awards, and has been displayed on the pages of InStyle, Martha Stewart, Town & Country, Modern Bride, and countless other national and international magazines.

Today Diana Vincent continues her first love – designing. In addition, she continues to regularly win awards, exhibit her jewelry in museums and showcases worldwide, and speak to design students at the nation’s most prestigious art schools about groundbreaking jewelry design. She is now widely regarded as one of the most creative, original jewelry designers in America.
