Mt. Lebanon native, Ellen Sue Ballon brings her Los Angeles based jewelry line, Deity to Create-A-Frame/Handworks Gallery Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 for a trunk show in honor of Mother’s Day. Deity Jewels has the blatant edginess to be “now,” yet draws upon everything from classic vintage style to Native American weaving. Using precious and semi-precious stones and 14 K gold knotted and macrame onto fine silk cord, Ellen draws inspiration from nature in her creation of handcrafted pieces that are each tied to the spirit of empowerment and self-discovery.
Deity can be found around the necks of some of Hollywood’s elite including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Rosario Dawson and the Olsen Twins. Create-A-Frame/Handworks Gallery, known for its exclusive selection of handmade American crafts including blown glass, ceramics, jewelry and furniture, has been a Mt. Lebanon jewel for many years and is pleased to welcome Deity as part of its lineup. Create-A-Frame/Handworks Gallery is located at 670 Washington Road, Mt.
