Inspired to Reach for the Stars, Judith Bright Pursues A Lifelong Passion and Finds Her Muse in Jewelry
April 11, 2007 — After 12 years working in Los Angeles with legendary music producer Quincy Jones, Judith Bright felt the time was right to reach for her own star. She retired from the music industry upon the birth of her third child, but it wasn’t until he was ready for school that her love of jewelry blossomed into a full-time passion.
She started her own business in 2006 with a custom jewelry studio in her new hometown of Nashville, TENN. Before settling in Nashville, Judith lived in Florence, Italy for a year-long family sabbatical where she studied jewelry design at the prestigious Arti De Orafe School of Jewelry. It was in Italy that her vision became clear, and she began designing the prototypes for her Gold+Rocks and Silver+Rocks collections.
Aprill 2007 marks the launch of JudithBright.com, an online boutique featuring all of her designs including the newest collections: RockLess, featuring polished and hand-hammered jewelry, and I+DO for the bride and bridal party. “Having an online store is a dream come true, and I’m excited about reaching new customers,†said the designer.
Judith’s designs are light and airy, and feature colorful gems in fashionable sterling silver and gold-filled links.
Bright uses the finest materials available, and hand selects each stone for her designs. Most materials are made in-house with lines that are cohesive and collectible. Says Bright, “I’m committed to making reasonably priced, high-quality jewelry that women will enjoy wearing everyday. There’s a lot of love in every piece I create!â€
