We are a Fasion Design and Sourcing company based in Caddington Bedfordshire. Due to continued expansion we now have the following vacancies:-
Garment Tech/Production Coordinator
This position requires a motivated individual with a thorough understanding of garment construction, fitting, specification, grading, quality control and critical paths.
This is a ‘hands on’ role in the QA department working with the product developer and designers on fit and quality, from first sample to final production. Conducting fit sessions and liaison with factories where excellent communication skills are essential to mediate effectively between the factory and the customer. You must have the ability to create specs, make decisions, monitor QC issues, improve processes and procedures to help plan/ control overseas production along with the shipping department.
This is an office based role, but travel within the UK to the warehouse and to offshore factories may be required. The following skills are essential: knowledge of commercial design, CAD sketching, pattern cutting, Excel and excellent organisational skills.
