I am not one to blog about luxury pet items all the time because more often than not, I think they are kind of a waste of money. But when I saw the amazing pendants offered by Accomplice Designs, I simply had to share them with you.
This company is a two-person operation based out of Quebec, Canada. The team of Linda and Ervin create handmade, one-of-a-kind collars, leashes and pendants for your pet. The collars and leashes are made out of durable leather and they are finished with silver buckles and accents. But the real outstanding pieces are the pendants, which can be worn as jewelry for your dog or for yourself!
These pieces are all hand-drawn using colored pencils or pastels then encased in an epoxy resin compound, sanded and polished to a clear finish. The drawings are then finished in a sterling silver frame which you can attach to your pet’s collar, to a key chain or a necklace.
The reason I like these so much is that they are a really different take on the traditional dog tag. There is plenty of room on the back of the pendants to inscribe important information such as your pet’s name, a phone number and an address. They would make lovely gifts for pet-lovers, or would be a wonderful personal memorial to a pet that you’ve lost.
The best part is that Accomplice is willing to make custom orders. You can send them a picture of your pet and they can most likely turn it into an original piece of wearable art!
The pendants are priced just over $200, so they don’t come cheap. But if you want to splurge a little bit on yourself or your pet, then this is such a classy way to go. Honestly, I think these are some of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen.
