Hinton-Parker joins Little Switzerland

MARCH 20, 2006 – Boca Raton, Fla. — Effective immediately, Pamela Hinton-Parker has been named senior vice president of merchandising at luxury jewelry and watch chain Little Switzerland.
Hinton-Parker comes to her new role with more than 18 years of experience in fine jewelry retailing. Most recently, she served as vice president of merchandising, planning and distribution for Starboard Cruise Services in Miami. Prior to that, she was director of merchandising for Colombian Emeralds International, a fine jewelry and watch retailer operating within the Caribbean duty-free market.
In addition to developing jewelry and watch assortment plans in a duty-free environment, Hinton-Parker’s background includes international product sourcing and private-label brand development for direct import in jewelry and watches and apparel and accessories.
With buying offices in Boca Raton, Fla., Little Switzerland operates luxury jewelry and watch boutiques throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
