BANGALORE: Garment Technology Expo 2014 was successfully organised in Bangalore from 16th June to 18th June. Bharattextile.com which participated the function experienced a mixed response of the festival.
Almost 200 companies from within and outside the country installed their stall at the occasion. More than 3000 visitors visited the stalls.
According to Mr I.S. Sahani, the purpose to arrange such type of exhibition is to acquaint the Indian textile producers with modern and advance technology related textiles
In spite of the fact the festival was as successful one, there were some deficiencies also.
Mr Jaggi Baxi (MD, Texco, N.C) told us that the crowd was less because it was vacation period. The ground was also far from the city. There was scarcity of transportation and even organisers failed to manage for the visitors.
Mr Abhinav Arya said that though the exhibition was successful but the location was very far form the city. So visitors had to incur a lot of problem.
CM Navli, CEO of Surabhi said that the response was poor and management failed to arrange proper transportation. The location was very far from the city.
Sandeep Bhatt of Prakash Industries said that last two days were okay. He said that no proper advertisement was done, so the response was poor.
But Bharattextile.com itself found that the exhibition was successful. Most of the visitors showed their satisfaction after visiting in the expo. Overall the expo was successful.
