Indonesia Has Strength in Environmentally Friendly Products

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that Indonesia has strength in the field of green products or environmentally friendly products. This field has the potential to increase the competitiveness of Indonesian products in the global market. He called this a long-term strength, in which all countries in the region began to look to work on environmentally friendly product segments. In Europe, for example, said the President, there are laws (UU) that restrict products that are not environmentally friendly.

“So that in the future, I see that this green product will develop, low carbon, efficient resources, socialy inclusive, everything, social equality, reducing environmental risks, this will develop,” explained President Jokowi.

According to the Head of State, Indonesia has a great opportunity to enter the green product market or green economy in terms of production, distribution, and consumption.

“Because in the future, the increasing public awareness of the environment, this will all affect the economy, business, global, and of course it will affect our economy,” he added. He emphasized that after this nation has been able to pass through the crisis period well, it is time to face the challenges ahead and transform into a new economic power that is getting stronger until it becomes a developed country.
