Legacies’ hosts third jewelry event

Legacies’ third-annual jewelry event, “Baubles, Bangles, and Bright Shiny Beads,” will have an opening reception from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at the Hyde Park Plaza store. The event will run Nov. 10-19.
“Baubles, Bangles, and Bright Shiny Beads” features vintage, designer, and better costume jewelry that has been donated or consigned to Legacies, the home furnishings donation and consignment store in Hyde Park Plaza.
Legacies provides financial support for the free cancer support programs at the Wellness Community of Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky.
The event also feature collections of unique jewelry and gifts from Gilded Age, The Silver Lady II, and Arcobaleno Stained Glass.
A silent auction for a solid mahogany Henkel Harris secretary valued at $7,500 will run for the duration of the 10-day event.
All profits from the jewelry event and silent auction will go directly to TWC to help fund their free support and education programs for people with cancer and their loved ones.
Honorary chairs of the event are April Davidow, Dianne Bohmer McGoron, and Moe Rouse, who originated the jewelry event in 2004.
