Sweden signs ten MOU’s/ Joint Statements with Pakistan during EXPO Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: A thirteen member Swedish delegation visited EXPO 2014 and signed fifteen documents during the EXPO, ten MOU’s and Joint Statements.
As per detail, the Swedish delegation, which visited EXPO 2014 singed several documents and also memorandum of understanding have been signed with the officials of Pakistan including.
Swedish Textiles Importers Association and Pakistan Bed wear Exporters Association, Swedish Textiles Importers Association and Pakistan Ready made Garment Association, Swedish Textiles Importers Association and Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association, Swedish Textiles Importers Association and The Karachi Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Swedish Chambers of Commerce and FPCCI and Swedish Chambers of Commerce and Karachi Chambers of Commerce.
Since 2002, Pakistan’s exports to Sweden have increased by 36 %. Signing of the above documents will further accentuate the growth and usher a new era in trade and business cooperation between the two countries. Sweden has always supported Pakistan regarding the anti-dumping duties in bed linen. Signing of the joint statements is bilateral commitment to condemn the anti dumping duties imposed against Pakistan.
Mr. Åke Weyler, the Managing Director of Swedish Textiles Association Sweden signed the MOU’s and Joint Statements on behalf of Swedish Textile Importers Association. Where as Miss Sophia Linder from Stockholm Chambers of Commerce presented MOU’s by the Swedish Chambers of Commerce.
