Vietnam textile and garment industry expo opens

Around 303 companies from 25 countries are to take part in a 4-day textile and garment exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City starting from April 4, the organizer announced.
Major global textile equipment manufacturers, from the US, Europe, China, Singapore, India, and Thailand among others and 40 Vietnamese and foreign-invested companies are slated to take part in the event.
Held annually, the Vietnam Textile & Garment Industry Expo showcases textile and garment raw materials, finished products, accessories, technologies, and equipment.
The associations of textile machinery manufacturers from the Republic of Korea and China are to showcase their latest products.
The Thai pavilion, sponsored by the Thai Export Promotion department, also plans to display their latest products, helping diversify the sources of textile equipment and materials to the Vietnamese market.
