Having returned from an inspiring trip to Taxco, Mexico’s silver capital, Julie Carrington and Lea Sanson the owners of the Jewellery Gallery showcased their newly discovered, truly amazing unique handcrafted silver jewelry. Taxco silver is an amazing story of Mexican artisans combining their talents to produce some of the finest handcrafted silver in the world.
The Jewellery Gallery @ Carrington’s showcases works from the studios of Taxco’s finest silversmiths that speak to a broad range of occasions, tastes and budgets, inspired and reproduced from world famous artisans, William Spratling, Hector Aguilar, Margot De Taxco and Antonio Pineda.
Also traveling to Melbourne to attend an exclusive trade fair, the girls sourced even more unique and delightful pieces from talented Australian, New Zealand and European silversmiths who are all masters in their craft. These pieces really are wearable works of art, unique, contemporary in design reflecting Japanese, Middle Eastern and European styles.
