RAPAPORT… The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will be held at the Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel May 28 to June 1, 2009. The upcoming show has grown its exhibitor base 20 percent to more than 350, according to show organizers dmg world media. This annual trade-only event features loose diamonds and gemstones, rare and unusual historical antique and vintage pieces, and antique watches from famous brands including Cartier, Rolex, Tiffany’s, Harry Winston, Patek Philippe and Van Cleef & Arpels. Show hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 28-31, and 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on June 1. A one-time admission of $15 is valid for all five days of the show.
“From high-end retailers to first time exhibitors, the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show is the venue for exhibitors to display their unique merchandise and the latest trends,” said Andrea Canady, fair director of the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show. “We continue to make our event the easiest venue for exhibitors and attendees to reconnect, conduct business and develop lasting relationships.”
Tami Aizenstat, owner of Time Warp Watches, said they’ve been exhibiting at this show for 15 consecutive years. Kurt Rothner, owner of Excalibur of Beverly Hills, said, they have been exhibiting since 1994, and would continue to do so as the show affords them an “unparalleled opportunity to meet and connect with retail jewelers.”
