Jewelry Television launches in St. Paul

FEBRUARY 22, 2006 – St Paul, Minn. — Comcast cable subscribers in the St. Paul area will now have access to Jewelry Television, thanks to a deal between the station and the cable provider.
“We’re excited to bring Jewelry Television to Comcast customers in the St. Paul area,” Jewelry Television Senior Vice President of Distribution said in a statement. “This network offers a very different home shopping experience that we believe will appeal to viewers here. We strive to improve upon the retail jewelry store experience by providing detailed product information, a wider selection, lower pricing and excellent customer service.”
The only cable shopping channel devoted exclusively to jewelry and gemstones, Jewelry Television sells a variety of fine jewelry, loose gemstones, hobbyist tools, castings and related books. It also offers educational programming on jewelry and gemstones.
Reaching more than 70 million cable households, Jewelry Television is the nation’s fastest-growing home shopping network, according to the company.
