Couple lose jewelry, silver to burglary

MANATEE – A couple who left their home for an hour and a half earlier today came back and found that someone had taken jewelry and a sterling silver dinner set, authorities said.The victims told investigators that their home in the 6300 block of Wingspan Way, was not ransacked, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.
But several drawers were left open, and they could tell that someone had been in their home, the release stated. They only knew that the burglar took the silver and some jewelry.
Investigators were not able to find any suspects, the release stated.
The burglary happened between 1 and 2:30 p.m. today.
