A brazen heist left a store out thousands of dollars worth of diamond jewelry.
Just before 6:30 p.m., two men walked into Ben Moss Jewelers at Kingsway Garden Mall and asked staff members if they could look at some rings.
Store staff felt they looked suspicious and while the men were looking at the rings one of the staff members called mall security.
Moments later, the suspects smashed a glass display case and scooped up some diamond jewelry.
They took off and jumped into a Ford F250 pick-up truck and fled the area. The truck was later recovered and found to have been stolen.
Police are trying to verify suspect descriptions and no one has been picked up.
An exact dollar value of the jewelry has not been released.
Store staff would only confirm that the theft had taken place.
