Vietnam Economic Times, Vietnam

The Viet Nam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) in the first six months this year made increases of 19.4 percent in revenues and 47.9 percent in profit as compared to the same period last year.
The Group has been keeping stable growth pace since it was restructured on the base of the Viet Nam Textile and Garment Corporation late last year.

Some of its affiliates obtained high profits of 14-15 billion VND (over 900,000 USD) such as Viet Tien, Nha Be and Det Phong Phu companies.
To continue improving business efficiency, the group instructed its subsidiaries to attach attention to market forecast work and carry out trade promotion and after-sales services.
Besides intensifying exports and focusing on non-quota markets, companies were asked to exploit domestic market and have policies to attract high-skilled workers.
