Ritesh Properties forays into garment retailing

Real estate player, Ritesh Properties and Industries (RPIL), has forayed into the retail sector with a designer range of Indian contemporary women`s wear, reports Business Standard
RPIL has introduced Femella, a designer range of Indian contemporary women`s wear. Designed by leading fashion designer Kamna Seth; the label will be sold through exclusive retail outlets.
At the time of the launch, the collection will be available at the `Femella` exclusive showrooms in Delhi. However the company plans to open around 500 retail stores across the country in the next five years, bringing in Rs 2.2 billion of total revenue.
Shares of the company closed down Rs 4.15, or 4.98%, at Rs 79.2. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 2,295 (Tuesday)
