Lapis legit, lapis surabaya, prawn crackers, gado-gado spices, chips, chili sauce, soy sauce and various Indonesian products were exhibited at the exhibition “Rasa Indonesia” which was held from 30 January – 8 February 2021 in Tin Hau, Hong Kong. This exhibition attract 5000 visitors, mostly Hongkong people.
“The pandemic has not deterred Indonesian lovers from introducing Indonesia. It is hoped that this exhibition can inspire various promotional activities for Indonesia in the future, especially when the pandemic has been resolved, “said the Indonesian Consul General in Hong Kong.” The exhibition in the midst of a pandemic is a concrete manifestation that Indonesia’s promotion continues to roll by adhering to local health protocols, ” he added.
Food products, MSME products, information on tourism destinations, and Indonesia’s investment potential are displayed for 10 days. IDNStore as Indonesian e-commerce in Hongkong was also introduced so that it is expected to penetrate the HongKong market.
This exhibition was organized by the HongKong Society for Indonesian Studies (HKSIS) in collaboration with the Indonesian Consulate General in HongKong and Searange Houseware Ltd, as well as the Indonesian lover association HongKong Chiao Yao Association.
