Jewelry, iron-rod chairs, electronics, and golf equipment headline this week’s Crimestoppers report.
Numerous items of jewelry were taken from a residence on Bryant Combs Road between June 22nd and July 1st.
A rod-iron chair and small green round table were taken form a residence on Shady Bark Lane on either July 2nd or July 3rd.
There was an additional larceny reported at the Boone Golf Club located at 433 Fairway Drive, between 6:00 P.M. on July 2nd and 8:30 A.M. on July 4th. Two golf bags with assorted clubs and equipment were stolen from a storage area. Also contained in one of the bags was a wedding band. The property was valued at around $5,300.
There have also been a series of break-ins and larcenies reported in the town of Boone recently. Televisions, video game consoles, and laptop computers are among the majority of items stolen.
The first break-in was reported at a residence in Mountaineer Village Apartments at 451 Yosef Drive, between the hours of 5:00 P.M. on June 28th and 11:00 A.M. on the 29th. A 36” television and a Playstation 3 game console with game were reported stolen. There was no forced entry involved. A second break-in was reported at another apartment in Mountaineer Village at 325 Yosef Drive, between the hours of 4:00 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. on June 29th. A woman’s purse and contents, an Apple IPOD Nano, and a digital camera were reported stolen. As with the previous break-in, there was no forced entry involved.
A third break-in was reported to have occurred at Mountaineer Village at 273 Yosef Drive, between 1:00 P.M. on June 30th and 9:00 P.M. on July 2nd. A laptop computer was reportedly taken. Again, there was no forced entry involved.
