UDNR trainees tour downtown Yangon
YANGON, 21 Jan— Trainees of the No 37 Course (BEd) of the University for Development of National Races this morning visited the Memorial to Fallen Heroes on Arzani Road in Bahan Township and laid a wreath there.
Afterwards, they paid homage to Shwedagon Pagoda and made cash donation. They proceeded to Dagon University in Dagon Myothit (East) Township and viewed booths displayed there. Rector of the university U Kyaw Myint Oo explained facts about the university and presented calendar of the university and chemistry journals to the trainees. At the University of Culture in Dagon Myothit (South) Township, the trainees enjoyed the entertainment presented by students of Music and Thabin Departments and viewed works of the students of Arts and Handicraft Department.
They also visited National Stadium-1 (Thu-wana) in Thingan-gyun Township and viewed the demonstration of athletes. Next, they left for Dagon Centre and made shopping there.
