Bhopal, Jan 30 In the first major reshuffle in the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government, 36 officers of the Indian Administrative Services were shifted from their current postings. Senior IAS officer Manoj Shrivastava has been posted as the Director, Public Relations Department.
Iqbal Ahmed, commissioner Rehabilitation has been shifted as commissioner Agriculture Production, Dr AN Ashthana, principal secretary Industries Department has been shifted as PS Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Hoshiyar Singh, managing director MPSSC Finance and Development Department has been shifted as PS MP Religious Endowment Department and Minorities Welfare and Backward Classes Welfare Department, OP Rawat, commissioner Environment Department has been shifted as PS Commerce and Industries Department, Employment Department, Public Enterprise and Women and Child Development Department, Satyaprakash, commissioner Environment Department has been posted as PS Home, Dr Pukhraj Maru, MD MPS Agriculture Industries Development Corporation will now be commissioner Rehabilitation, Ex-officio PS Revenue Department.
PD Meena has been posted commissioner Environment Department and ex-officio PS Town Administration and Development Department and DG EPCO. SR Mohanti will be managing director MP State SC Finance and Development Department, Prabhanshu Kanwal CMD Food and Civil Supplies Department and Consumer Protection, M Gopal Reddy has been posted as commissioner Industries Department and ex-officio secretary Commerce, Industries and Employment Department and secretary MP Employment Board.
MK Singh will be director Rajya Shiksha Kendra, ICP Keshri will be managing director MPUVN and ex-officio secretary Power Department, JN Kansotia has been transferred as managing director MP Agriculture Industries Development Corporation, GK Shrivastava, managing director MP State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Dr Komal Singh will be commissioner Gwalior Division, Ms Kalpana Shrivastava will be director Women and Child Development Department.
Dr Rajesh Rajora will be commissioner Animal Husbandry Department and managing director Bouvine Conservation Board and managing director Fisheries Federation, Shivnarayan Mishra CMD Town and Country Planning Department and director Disaster Management Institute.

The state government has given additional charge to some IAS officers along with their present duties. These include MM Upadhyay will also look after Medical Education Department as Principal Secretary along with his current assignments.
Kanchan Jain will also be ex-officio secretary Women and Child Development Department, AP Shrivastava will also be secretary Planning, Economic and Statistics Department and 20 point implementation committee, VinodSemwal will also hold charge as ex-officio secretary NVDA, SK Vashisht will have additional charge as managing director MP Farm and Seeds Development Corporation, Sandeep Saxena will also remain managing director MP Handicraft Development Corporation and Neelam Shammi Rao has been given additional charge as managing director MP Tourism Development Corporation. She has been relieved from the post of director Rajya Shiksha Kendra.
Vijay Singh prepares for GoI assignment
Bhopal: Former chief secretary Vijay Singh, who was shifted and posted as chairman of the Revenue Board Gwalior will proceed on a Government of India assignment as secretary AYUSH. Singh has been trying for a Government of India assignment from April 2005, but things could only materialise now.
