Production Process of Fiber Crafts

The results of handicrafts production made from fiber can be in various forms. Therefore, according to their needs, making handicrafts made from fiber requires basic techniques. The basic techniques of textile crafts are all the methods used to formed or processed the textile materials. There are some techniques can applied. The use of basic techniques is adjusted to the craft to be made, so the use of basic techniques is right on target. The fiber material that will be used for textiles needs to be processed before it can be used. The following are some of the production processes for fiber handicrafts:

Weave
Weaving techniques can be used for the manufacture of tapestry craft products. Weaving using a spanram (stretch wood) or frame stretched by warp threads as a path for the woven or weft threads. Weaving is a technique in making cloth made with a simple principle, by combining threads lengthwise and transversely. In other words, alternating between the warp and weft threads.

Sewing
Sewing has the meaning of attaching (connecting and so on) with a needle and thread. Sewing means joining cloth and other materials through which the sewing needle and thread can pass. Sewing can do by hand (manual) or a sewing machine. In the manufacture of dyed tie cloth, sewing techniques are needed to block the color.

Tying
Tying is a technique of joining two or more threads to formed the tie. Tying can also be interpreted as uniting pieces of cloth with one another by using a tying tool to form a certain pattern. This tie can be a knot or a color pattern.
