Emas Muda Kini Jadi Pilihan

SURABAYA – Memasuki semester II 2006, penjualan emas mengalami perbaikan daripada periode sebelumnya. Kini, omzet emas meningkat 40 persen dibandingkan paro pertama 2006 yang hanya naik 30 persen. Ali Wahyudi, sekretaris umum Asosiasi Pengusaha Emas dan Permata (Apepi) Jatim dan Surabaya, menyebutkan bahwa pasar emas mulai ramai.
Hanya, karena harga emas masih cukup tinggi, demand emas beralih ke emas muda yang nilainya 8-10 karat. Dikatakannya, sejak harga emas naik tinggi, demand emas muda di Surabaya melonjak 50 persen ketimbang sebelumnya 30 persen. “Meningkatnya demand emas muda ini karena harganya lebih murah dan bisa dijual kembali,” sebutnya kemarin.
